JOSAM History Timeline
1972
1974
The next stage of product development introduces JOSAM Laser AM, a new alignment system for truck wheels and axles. This innovative system uses the truck frame’s center line as a reference point, with lasers and alignment scales for precise wheel and axle alignment.
1979
JOSAM introduces the Cab Bench, an entirely new system for straightening truck cabs that can supplement various adapters to accommodate different makes of trucks.
1985
In the early 1980s, JOSAM experiences remarkable growth, culminating in being honored with the Industry Award by the Municipality of Örebro in 1985.
1995
JOSAM achieves ISO 9001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for quality management.
1996
JOSAM launches the Truckaligner I, an electronic wheel alignment system that offers a faster, easier, and more precise alternative to traditional analogue systems.
1998
JOSAM releases the first induction heating system.
2000s
The early 2000s see these new product introductions:
- 2002: Cab Tower straightening system with floor anchoring
- 2006: PC-based wheel alignment system, Truckaligner II
- 2008: I-Press frame straightening system
2011
JOSAM introduces I-Track, a high-speed wheel alignment system that doesn’t require scales to be attached to the vehicle, enabling rapid measurement of wheel alignment and swift diagnosis of wheel settings.
2013
Launch of the powerful JH1500 induction heater, completing the JH range of induction heaters
2014
JOSAM unveils the Cam-Aligner, a robust wheel alignment system based on camera technology that provides mobility for wheel alignment in any environment or place.
2016
ADAS calibration of camera and radar for Volvo Group is implemented in Cam-Aligner
2018
JOSAM launches I-Track II, a faster, more enhanced update to the highly successful I-Track wheel alignment system.
2022
JOSAM celebrates fifty years of pioneering innovation and development.
2023
Introduction of the TreadReader™ HD tire scanner, fully integrated with JOSAM® Homebase 4 wheel alignment software.
